In 1981, Flexpak BV moved to bigger premises. In the subsequent years, investments were made in bagging machines, cutting machines and a four- and six-colour press. The production had moved on; not only roundels and bags, but also printed foil that was supplied to the customer on rolls.
Flexpak grew extremely fast and the premises soon became too small for the packaging manufacturer. In 1983, a large annex was built. By the end of the 80s, production was extended and a laminating machine was added. This important innovation was to become one of Flexpak’s specialties. In 1995, they saw the start of construction of new business premises and offices. This was put into service in 1997. In 2009, the production area was further expanded to the size it has today.
Starting on May 1st, 2016, Flexpak has joined the OPACKGROUP.
